The Hon. Dean Brown, AO

Chairman

Hon. Dean Brown has had a distinguished career in South Australian politics spanning a period of thirty years. He served as the Premier of South Australia from December 1993 to November 1996 and has held a number of key Ministerial posts prior to retiring from Parliament in March 2006. He has worked as a management consultant in both the private and public sectors, holding a number of board appointments including the Hillgrove Resources Limited, National Youth Mental Health Advisory Board and Foodbank SA. He was also the independent chair of the Strathalbyn Community Consultative Committee, established by the South Australian Government to consider issues relating to Terramin Australia’s proposal for a zinc mine near Strathalbyn.

Russell Middleton

Director, Company Secretary and Chief Financial Officer

Russell joins the InterMet executive team with almost 20 years experience in the mining industry. Russell has worked for both BHP and Shell in senior management positions in accounting, commercial and planning roles. He also has significant experience with mine project evaluations and construction of new mines. Over the past few years Russell has been Chief Financial Officer for contracting and services companies in the mining sector. Russell is also the Company Secretary of Hillgrove Resources Limited.

Ronald Belz

Non-Executive Director

Ron has been a Tax Agent since 1978, a member of CPA Australia since 1982 and a Certified Practising Accountant since 1987. He is in public practice in Edgecliff, Sydney. Ron has extensive knowledge and experience in accounting and taxation and corporate law in Australia. He is currently Treasurer and Board Member of the Academy BJE, the New South Wales Board of Jewish Education. Ron is also a Director of Hillgrove Resources Limited.
